FSC is a certification system that provides internationally recognized standard-setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services to companies, organizations, and communities interested in responsible forestry.

In addition to the material the cabinet doors are made from consumers can also choose materials for the actual cabinet box. These materials can range form a standard melamine cabinet box manufactured from recycled materials to a plywood cabinet box made with non-added urea formaldehyde industrial board from recycled materials or plywood. These materials may use adhesives that are formaldehyde free reducing indoor voc emissions.
