Storage is one of the most challenging aspects of kosher kitchens as there are two sets of dishes and cookware for every day use, one dedicated to dairy meals, and one to meat meals.
Storing Passover dishes and cookware can make this a monumental task. Don’t worry, basic solutions can be simple. Plan on separate wall cabinets for the everyday meat and dairy dishes or consider separate deep drawers with pegboard and dividers.
The same idea would apply for storage of pots and pans and other cookware. Passover dishes and cookware can be stored in a pantry type unit for convenience, or if space is an issue they can be stored in a closet, basement, attic, or offsite in the case of condominiums.
There are many solutions for silverware and utensils. Dual sliding or stackable trays allow for separation of meat and dairy silverware while drawer dividers keep cooking utensils separate.
